Oakland - The Golden State Warriors lost a heartbreaker to the Los Angeles Lakers, 123-119 in overtime. Throughout the game, Monta Ellis struggled with his shot, shooting 7-20 from the field for 18 points. He did end up one rebound and one assist shy of his first career triple double. The decisive play was with four seconds left in overtime and the Warriors down by 2. Before the inbounds, Monta got pulled down by Derek Fisher and was somehow whistled for an offensive foul, sealing the game for the Lakers.

Los Angeles - The Golden State Warriors blew a 26 point third quarter lead, but managed to comeback and defeat the Los Angeles Lakers, 115-111. After starting the game 3 for 8 from the field, Monta made his last seven shots of the half as the Warriors raced out to a 72-49 halftime lead. He finished the game, 12-22 from the field and scored 31 points. Monta also added 7 rebounds and 5 assists and was a perfect 7 for 7 from the free throw line.

Oakland - The Golden State Warriors lost in a back and forth game to the Houston Rockets, 109-106. The Warriors jumped out to a 17-6 first quarter lead, but no team could get a double-digit lead after that. Monta Ellis had a nice shooting night, going 10-15 from the field and scoring 24 points. He also handed out 4 assists, but had 4 turnovers

Los Angeles - The Golden State Warriors pounded the short-handed Los Angeles Clippers, 116-100. The win extended the Warriors’ 2.5 game lead over the Denver Nuggets for the 8th and final Western Conference playoff spot. Monta Ellis scored 28 points on 13-18 shooting as he bounced back from last night’s poor game against the Kings. He made his last 9 shots of the game and held off a late Clipper charge in the 4th quarter.

Sacramento - Monta Ellis had one of his worst games of the season, in a 122-105 drubbing by the Kings. He was subbed out in the 3rd quarter in the midst of the Kings’ big run, and never came back into the game. Monta finished with 11 points on 3-9 shooting and played only 28 minutes.
